Good location but stay spoiled by poor control of noise

Close to the beach and a short walk from town.

Guests were allowed to sit outside the bar well after closing time, until 2am. The courtyard is enclosed meaning that this noise can be heard in everyone’s room.

Vibrant, clean, well located

Clean, friendly staff, great location to the beach and main town. Beautiful gardens. Room spacious and nicely decorated. Cleaned daily which was nice. Great dining area and food. Really lovely animation team for the kids.

Quite busy - no real control around the pool with people putting towels out at 6am and then not using them. Quite crowded around the main pool - could have been more staff supervising here.

Good clean hotel at a fantastic location less than 3 mins from the beach

very clean; pools for children and adults, great location about 3 mins from beach. Food fantastic (breakfast and dinner - great variety).

Indoor pool could have been warmer. Kids Club was good but Adult entertainment was lacking.

Very Good

We booked this place quite last minute, and were well aware that it was a family style resort. The room was very spacious and clean, it is a little outdated / run down, we did have a couple of minor issues on arrival with power / light switches and air conditioning not working. Otherwise, we had a very good stay, great location close to some beautiful beaches and swimming spots, the buffet breakfast was great, we never had an issue with parking nearby, the gym facilities were good. We spent most of our days exploring Cala D'or and the beaches so didn't spend a lot of time at the pool. When we did come back in the afternoons, just note that the music at the pool area was very loud to cater to the children at the pool / the family atmosphere, and this could be heard loud and clear from our room. Overall we still had a very pleasant stay, and loved the area of Cala D'or.

Wonderful

The location was close to beaches, resto and shops. I like our room, very well! The breakfast buffet was soo good! I really like the churros and nutella! Coffee was good!

Our rooms were on the 4th floor, with no access to elavetor. We had to carry our heavy luggages, and there's no lights either on the staircase. It's very dark in the evening. We have to rely on our mobilephone, flashlights. There's a very Long wait for coffee, since u have to order directly to barista. A coffee Machine would be more effektive I think. Overall we enjoy our stay very much!

Worth the money, good hotel

Look like it was renovated not long time ago, rooms look fresh and quite clean, cleaning staff was coming every day, big area with parking, small but mighty gym

Unfortunately hotel doesn’t have vanity kits (I expect it from 4*), cleaning was not always perfect, our bedding haven’t been change at all in 7 days and duvet for some reason didn’t have cover, and sometimes there was smell of canalization in the bathroom

Location: We explored the entire island, but Cala d'Or, especially the district where Prinsotel is located, is the most beautiful and tranquil place in Mallorca. I highly recommend choosing this location if you crave a calm and relaxing holiday. Additionally, just a 5-minute walk from the hotel, you will find many cafes, shops, supermarkets, and more. There are also two beaches very close to the hotel: Cala Esmeralda and Cala Gran. Food: If you prefer to spend all day at the hotel, you don't need to worry about food. You can choose between a truck offering pizzas, fries, and burgers or a café with salads, wraps, and sandwiches. We also really enjoyed the cocktails at the bar—they were amazingly tasty. Room: The room was big for two of us with plenty of space to store our suitcases, bags, and clothes. The room was also packed with a fridge, 4 cups, a microwave, a coffee machine, and a kettle. Most of all I liked the bathroom - it seemed to be recently renovated - clean and spacious.

Despite the recent renovation of the entire hotel and the lovely grounds, we weren't satisfied with our room. It was extremely cold, even with the outside temperature at +23°C and the sun shining. Our room was on the first floor, so the bedroom windows faced the road, and the balcony overlooked the pool. The problem was with the curtains; they didn't close firmly because of the hooks, so everyone could see what was happening in the room. The Wi-Fi was too slow, so we couldn't use it at all. Staff: There were two situations when I was a bit confused by the staff. First, after booking the hotel, I wrote twice to ask about parking, but they didn't respond. Second, we asked for two plates because we wanted to have breakfast in our room, but they said they couldn't provide us with any. This was really strange because they had put a microwave in the room—how are we supposed to cook something and eat without plates?

Amazing location, dont count on wi-fi

Excellent location, very short distance to the beach. Modern and clean rooms.

For self catering there were no plates or cutlery to make a sandwich. Wifi worked well in parents room in block 7, my room in block 8 barely worked. Would of been nice if the children entertainment had the odd English song for them to sing along too as lots of English families in resort. Kids pool was freezing. Kids park had no ladders, only be suitable for around age 6 and over.

Overall very nice location, super close to the beach. The cleanliness could have been better.

The staff at the reception was super friendly.

A lot of things were mixed up even though we've asked for the same thing over 3 times. Our bedsheets weren't cleaned once in our stay which we found unpleasant.

It’s extremely clean, grounds well kept. It’s quiet, no sunbed wars, lovely friendly staff, rooms cleaned and towels changed daily. Good range of items for breakfast. Great food options during the day. Seamless check in and out! Loved it here!

Would like a better range of entertainment at night. Being very picky here, hard to fault the place.

the room was big and comfortable. the location was also really good.

The cleaning ladies were super noisy and woke us up everyday at 07AM with their noises. the mattress was not good, it was kind of old and pending for both sides.

Easter vacation

Location is great, very good facilities and amenities, great breakfast, all you need is there. The beach is 3 min away. 3 restaurants at the location and a food truck.

At the check in the clerk wrongly try to charge my kids(13 and 15) the city tax that is applicable form age 16, even though that Booking clearly mentioned the amount of charge. In the last evening we wanted to try the dinner buffet and again they try to charge my 15 yo kid as an adult, after I confronted them about the ages and charges they were not sure what is the age to be charged as adults and the decided on spot that is 12 yo. I refuse this as they were making the rules as they pleased and just go for a la carte in a different location. Disappointing.

What was the highlight of Hotel Prinsotel Alba

Very Good

The hotel is situated three minutes away from Cala Gran, which is one of the best beaches in this part of Mallorca. It is a complex of several buildings surrounded by pleasant vegetation, the vibe was very nice and calm. We enjoyed Picco restaurant that is a part of the hotel: the food quality and prices were OK (as opposed to some other tourist trap restaurants in Cala d'Or). Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was also alright. We rented bicycles for a day: although a bit pricey, they were in mint condition - highly recommended!

The swimming pool was crowded (mostly with kids), the digital TV signal was poor.
